Q: What is the difference between Sony HD HDR-FX7 Handycam and the Canon 5D Mark II HD-DSLR camera?
A: The difference is in the quality of the captured video images. Below are the differences (in image quality):
With 3 ClearVid CMOS Sensor imaging System, the Sony HD HDR-FX7 captures sharp, vibrant and accurate color video images and performs incredibly outdoor in daytime. However, with 4.0 Lux the handycam will need spotlight or support lighting when recording in dim light such as poorly lit indoor areas and at night time. Without additional lighting, the image would be grainy (noisy).
The Canon 5D Mark II is the most used HD-DSLR camera by professionals and talented cinematographer in the U.S.A, United Kingdom, Malaysia, Indonesia and the rest of the world. Its full-frame 21.1 Megapixel CMOS sensor combines with DIGIC 4 Image Processor delivers High Definition movie quality video. With a wide range of Canon lenses to choose from, the Canon 5D creates amazing effects. The issue of grainy images is almost of non-existence in any light situations.
